Offered here is a spectacular Stanford University Cardinal baseball jersey worn by #24 (see second photo) during the 2000 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. In 2000, Stanford went all the way to the final before falling in extra innings to LSU.
The jersey has the CWS patch on the sleeve and the Stanford name scripted in sewn on letters across the chest. The jersey is tagged a Rawlings size 46 and features the Rawlings patch on the sleeve. This is road grety jersey with good evidence of use. I haven't figured out yet who wore #24 for Stanford during the 2000 season, but the Stanford website says it was Joe Borchard, a first round MLB draft pick by the Chicago White Sox who played until 2007.
Also, Carlos Quentin wore that number starting in 2001 for Stanford.
