I don't like to use the word "rare" in a description because it is often overused for items that actually are not rare, BUT this baseball glove is indeed RARE. Of gloves, bats and balls, but have never seen a glove like this before.

First of all, the glove is like new except for being a little dirty on the thumb from shelf display, and appears to have never been used, Leather is flexible and piping, markings, label, button are perfect. Pretty amazing for a glove that is 60 years old. I never had the box even though the glove looks. It just came out of its box.

Second of all, this is a special edition glove with "World Series Champ" on the web. The glove was put into production for sale in sporting goods stores after that for the next baseball season. CONDITION: Use the multiple pictures to assess condition. Pictures were taken indoors under mixed lighting, mostly fluoresc ent.

It's not perfect, but when you pick it up, your first reaction is that the glove is new. It has never been used as far as I can determine. Dimensions: About 10 inches from heel to top of index finger. Weight is about 1 pound. The item will be carefully and securely packaged.
