For sale is a truly unique collectable from the 2012 World Series, Game #2 between the visiting Detroit Tigers and the host San Francisco Giants. The Giants would win this game, 2-0, behind a dominant Madison Bumgarner performance, and would eventually sweep the series. This specific ball was pitched in the bottom of the fourth inning by Tiger's starter Doug Fister to SF's Buster Posey. Buster would foul tip this ball in the ground, and it would be removed from play. Posey would be retired with a different ball, en route to a 1 for 3 game with a walk.

The world series was the icing on the cake for Posey's amazing 2012 campaign, and this is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a World Series ball which hit his bat! The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. This ball carries the hologram EK243558.
