The Cards pounded out 13 hits and touched Detroit starter General Crowder and a pair of relievers for eight runs, while Dean went the distance to earn the victory. Joe Medwick belted a solo homer for the Cards, and he and Jack Rothrock and Bill DeLancey each knocked in a pair of runs. Hank Greenberg was the lone bright spot for the home club, smacking a solo homer off Dean in the eighth inning.The program is in great shape despite being 79 years old. It has individual photos and bios of all of the Tigers and many of the Cardinals, including the two managers - Mickey Cochrane of Detroit and the Cardinals Frankie Frisch.
