1929 World Series Program Phil Athletic vs Chicago Cubs. This is the rare version distributed at Philadelphia. The pages are in reasonably nice condition and are fairly crisp and uncreased. They do have toning from age.

They are very clear and great reading. The front and back cover have become detached from the program and separated from each other. The front cover has tape and stains on it as shown in the scans. The third scan shows the program without the cover such that the condition and strength of the binding can be better seen. The original staple has rusted, but has only very slightly bled onto the pages in the small area in the region of the staple.

The center page has separated from the staple binding. The second most center page has also separated from the staple binding. The rest of the program is well bound and in reasonably nice condition. The program has 68 pages, meaning that if the pages were numbered from the front cover through the back cover the numbers would arrive at 68 on the back cover. The scorecards have been marked in pencil.

The pages overall look nice in my opinion. There are alot of great photos of the players and descriptions of them in this program for all of the Athletics players. There are 23 photos and descriptions like the example of Jimmie Foxx shown below. Examples of this are shown in the scan. It is a quite a piece of history! Please see the scans for the condition of some of the pages. They are very representative of the condition of the program. The program is larger than my scanner which is why I show half the cover on one scan and the other edge on another. The light lines seen in some of the images are not present in the program and are an artifact of the scanner.
